During this half term we will be learning about Yorkshire.
During our topic we will be going on a few local walks to explore areas of Yorkshire. One of
these walks will be a trip to Middleton Woods to compare it with the city landscape.
Home Learning in Year 3 includes: reading for our 100 Reading Challenge., spellings, maths and
Each Friday, your child will be given Home Learning to be handed back into school by Wednesday
or earlier if possible.
Spellings given out every Friday, will then be applied throughout the following week’s spelling

Year 3 had lots of fun when they visited Yorkshire Wildlife Park for their end of year trip.

As part of their topic on Yorkshire Tourism Hazel Class visited Mallam Cove.
As part of their topic work Yr 3 visited Sinai Synagogue and were very lucky as they got to see the Synagogues Torah Scrolls and even made their own scrolls.
Year 3 had some very special visitors in class when Jolleys Pet Shop came for the day.
