World Book Day
On Thursday 7th March, children across the school will be taking part in World Book day. The day helps
pupils and adults to get excited about books and encourages a passion for reading. All pupils and staff
can dress as their favourite character from a book and there are prizes for the best dressed. We can’t
wait to see all the fun costumes!
Red Nose Day
It is that time of the year where we join in and raise money for Red Nose Day. This year it is on Friday
15th March and the children are invited to come dressed in anything red to raise money for this
worthwhile cause. We are asking for a donation of £1 per child and this can be done through our on-
line school money application. We will also be selling buns/cakes at playtime and in the hall after
school to raise as much as we can for this great cause
Parents’ and Carers’ meetings
This half-term we will be running Parents’ and Carer meetings on Tuesday 26th March in the evening
between 3.30 – 6.00 and Thursday 28th March in the afternoon between 1.30 and 4.00. All the
meetings will be in the school hall and are a great way to discuss how well your child is getting on at
school. Look out for a letter about the meetings week beg 18th March.
We will break up for Easter on Friday 29th March and re-open again on Monday 15th April.
