Year 6 SATs parents' meeting

 

We will be holding a meeting on Friday 18th January in the Year 6 classrooms at 3.20pm

to let Year 6 Parents know important information about the SATs tests their children will

be sitting in May and how best they can help them.

 

Early Years and KS1 School Meal Taster day

 

Is your child in Early Years and KS1 and not taking up their entitlement to a

school meal?

On Thursday 17th January we are encouraging every child in school to try one of our

delicious new meals.  Children can choose to have either a hot roast dinner (vegetarian

and halal options are available) or a Jacket Potato with a tuna filling or a Cheese Sub

Roll. 

For children in Early Years or KS1 this meal would be free. For all other children it

would be £2.40 or £12 for the whole week. Why not let us provide your packed lunch

from now on? 

 

 

Year 6 Kingswood Residential Trip Parents’ meeting for parents of current Year

5 children

 

It might seem ages away, but it is time to start planning next year's Year 6 residential to

Kingswood - come and find out all the information you will need on Friday 18th January.

 

Year 4 Ravenstor Residential Trip Parents’ meeting

 

Summer seems far away but the time will fly by and there is a meeting to let Year 4 Parents know about the residential to Ravenstor on Thursday 17th January. Look out for more details.

 

Harry Potter Year 5/6 Sleepover Night

On Friday 8th February, children from Year 5 and 6 will be invited to come back to school

at night to enjoy a Harry Potter night full of spells and wizardry. As well as these fun

events the children will get to sleep over in the school with their friends. Look out for

more information towards the middle of January and in the meantime brush up on your

spells!

 

World Book Day

World Book Day on Thursday 7th March and the children will be able to come dressed up

as their favourite book characters on the day.
